An absolutely 100% free resource for help with the FAFSA and questions about financial aid.

 FAFSA Master

"what qualifies you to help?"

I am currently employed in a Financial Aid Office at a Title IV-eligible, accredited college, with 7 years of experience and have received many credentials awarded through the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA). I am active in my state, regional, and national associations.

"so, who are you?"

As much as I would love to share who I am and where I work, this service is designed to be separate from and unrelated to my employment at the college, so you can simply call me "the FAFSA Master!"

"why do it for free?"

Because I don't like seeing families pay for something that should be free. As a currently employed Financial Aid Administrator (FAA), I already get paid by my school to help OUR students, but why not help ANYONE trying to go to school? During this COVID-19 season of financial uncertainty for families, this is just a way for me to make a small positive impact where I can.

"how can I trust you if you are anonymous?"

I can respect that concern. If this makes you uncomfortable, you can keep your questions to me general, or you can simply contact your school's Financial Aid Office. The services I offer are intended to prevent you from paying a for-profit service for something Financial Aid Administrators do every day at no cost - simply because we never want financial aid to be a barrier to a student's success.
